Duties
You will research items and sources to obtain estimates for purchases.
You will direct callers and visitors to the appropriate individual or resource.
You will answer routine, non-technical general inquiries from telephone calls and visitors.
You will compose and edit outgoing correspondence to ensure correct content, grammar, and format.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following1) Ability to prepare/process requests for position description classification actions, requests for personnel actions and to report discrepancies to the Human Resource Office. 2) Ability to respond to urgent requests for facilities and office equipment support and services. 3) Ability to receive and screen visitors and telephone calls, answering all routine, administrative, and other questions not requiring technical knowledge. 4) Ability to maintain MS Outlook and MS Teams Calendar, schedule appointments and notify appropriate personnel of schedule changes. 5) Ability to use various computer programs including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Team, Defense Travel System, to enter, correct and retrieve factual information. 6) Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
