Duties
Coordinate with administrative staff on various lab inventory activities.
Coordinate with program leadership, contracting advocates, and/or external representatives to ensure smooth contracting and agreement processes.
Interface with various budgeting personnel to implement needed adjustments to program allocations.
Meet regularly with program management personnel to track project labor and expense allocation and execution.
Utilize systems of record and automated data acquisition portals to update teams on project status and funding.
Prepare documentation to support government contracting and interagency agreements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position to complete the Financial Management (FM) Certification Program Level 2.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. General Experience: Three years progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the DJ-01 (GS-04) grade level, which includes Assisting in developing budget estimates; Identifying shortfalls in various programs; and Tracking and/or maintaining inventory within the lab. This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service DJ-01(GS-04).

Education: Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent DJ-01 (GS-04).
