This position serves as the Executive Assistant located in a State/Center Office of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).
GS-7 salary range: $49,541- $64,405
GS-8 salary range: $54,864- $71,321
This position is concurrently open to Merit Promotion eligibles under Announcement Number BLM-NM-24-12482632-MP-OPM.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required specialized experience for the respective grade level in which you are applying:
GS-07 Specialized Experience:
Applicants must have one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following: (1) maintaining the supervisor's schedule of appointments based on priorities and workload; (2) managing travel arrangements, travel authorizations, and travel vouchers for executive leadership; (3) providing support to administrative staff with telephone procedures, publications, and reports; (4) receiving and reviewing all correspondence for assigned supervisor.
GS-08 Specialized Experience:
Applicants must have one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following: (1) ensuring the supervisor's day-to-day plan is followed based on commitments and workload; (2) coordinating and attending meetings/conferences to include agenda preparation and taking meeting notes; (3) evaluating correspondence for proper format, grammar, and distribution; (4) ensuring that personal, confidential, and policy information is not divulged to unauthorized personnel.
