Duties
You will serve as an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN) in the Special Projects IT/IA Branch (Code 7452) of the Electromagnetic Signatures Technology Division (Code 74).
You will perform cyber customer support functions including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, backup, customer assistance, and/or training, in response to customer requirements for the Network Environment (NE) with minimal assistance.
You will manage accounts, network rights, and access to NE systems and equipment.
You will support the maintenance of network operating systems software and hardware.
You will support hardware, software, data, and facility resource archival, sanitation or disposal in a manner consistent with system security plans and requirements.
You will provide RDTE network support.
You will install and support computer systems and all cyber applications.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 451, System Administrator level Intermediate within 12 months of appointment.
Qualifications
For the NT-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 (GS-05/08 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Information Technology (IT) system administration support functions through installation, configuration or maintaining hardware, software or operating systems to meet cybersecurity requirements. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.

Education
Education may be substituted for experience for the below grades as follows:
For the NT-03:
Successful completion of a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree.
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree.
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
