This position is in the Visitor Experience and Evaluation (DDVE) department of the National Gallery of Art. The Human-Centered Design Strategist focuses on putting audiences at the center of the National Gallery's decision-making and experience design process. Reporting to the Chief Experience Officer, this position's primary role is to facilitate the translation of insights from a robust audience research program into actionable improvements that enhance the audience experience.

Qualifications
Candidates must meet the Qualification Standards Handbook requirements for the NF-301-13/14.
NF-13
For this position, specialized experience is at least one year of experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-12 level in the federal service, writing a learning-based audience engagement curriculum for a museum or cultural institution.
NF-14
For this position, specialized experience is at least one year of experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-13 level in the federal service, orchestrating human-centered design activities for a museum or cultural institution.

Project Management – Ability to manage all aspects of a project, including planning the work, developing procedures, and tracking progress.
