About the Position: Serve as an Industrial Engineering Technician for Crane Army Ammunition Activity (CAAA) planning, coordinating, and accomplishing a wide variety of industrial engineering technical duties in the areas of SOP and standard development encompassing the total production effort for the Activity.

Duties

Prepare/review reports and creates Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all assigned items being produced. Analyzes and studies production methods to establish manufacturing standards. Reviews Technical Data Packages (TDPs) to ensure packages are complete. Compiles and calculates data for various types of machinery. Participates in conferences with representatives of various segments of the organization.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program and requires the incumbent to pass urinalysis testing prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • This position is subject to the Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968. Persons convicted of a misdemeanor or felony crime of domestic violence are not eligible for the position.
  • Position requires incumbent employee to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Temporary duty (TDY) business travel is required less than 25% of the time.
