Duties

Analyze statistical data to determine deficient(s). Develop guidelines and procedures to ensure directorate compliance. Provide technical assistance to functional personnel to alleviate bottlenecks. Conduct audits on performance, compliance, and progress for supply programs. Develop training programs (i.e. Logistics Modernization Program) for depot personnel. Evaluate supply systems performance measures to ensure performance goals are met.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance for access to Depot Production Computer System.
• Obtain and maintain a Personnel Background Investigation (NACI).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance for access to Depot Production Computer System.
• Temporary promotion may be made or extended up to a maximum of five years and can be made permanent without further competition.
• Temporary appointment may be extended in one year increments up to a maximum of three years but cannot be made permanent.
• Time Limited Detail NTE may be made or extended at management discretion.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position such as supply chain management or business management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
