About the Position: Serves as Supply Technician for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW), Business Operations Integration Division, Supply Branch with responsibility for the replenishment stock orders and procurement of supplies and equipment in support of DPW shops and activities.

Duties

Participate in inventory process to determine causes of inventory discrepancies by checking stock records, e.g. purchase orders, receipts, logs and other information. Responsible for the replenishment of stock orders and procurement of supplies and equipment in support of the department and its activities. Direct, analyze, and recommend types of processing actions for requisitions, reallocating, or redistributing materials, as well as coordinate material support requirements. Participate in inventory process to determine causes of inventory discrepancies by checking stock records, e.g. purchase orders, receipts, logs and other information.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent must obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) may be required up to 5% of the time.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450.

This definition of specialized experience typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
