We are recruiting for Technical Writer-Editors who will serve as a technical experts and write and edit products that articulate, interpret, and explain complex or potentially controversial policies, programs, and research findings
Requirements

Qualifications
In order to qualify for a Technical Writer-Editor, GS-1083 position at the GS-12 level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: writing and editing products that summarize research studies, describe the work of an organization, and disseminate technical or scientific information; tailoring scientific and technical information for a specific audience; gathering information on a specific subject matter using published journals, online sources, observations, or interviews with subject matter experts; editing materials for consistency, clarity, and conformance to grammar and style guides; and advising authors and designers of effective formats and illustrations to augment a written message.
In order to qualify for a Technical Writer-Editor, GS-1083 position at the GS-13 level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: writing and editing products that articulate, interpret, and explain policies, programs, and research; analyzing the credibility of data sources for presenting technical information; editing materials for accuracy of technical terminologies and consistency with the organization's mission; and authorizing the clearance of materials for publication.
