This position is located in the Civil Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Branch of the Multi-Door Dispute Resolution Division of the District of Columbia Superior Court. The Assistant ADR Case Manager is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Civil, Landlord & Tenant, Probate, Small Claims, and Tax programs.

  • A background and security investigation is required.
  • A probationary period of one (1) year must be successfully completed.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma plus two (2) years of administrative experience in a court or legal environment. Education Substitution: Associate's degree with at least one (1) year of administrative experience in a court or law office environment. Bachelor's degree with at least six (6) months of administrative experience in a court or law office environment. The incumbent should be an enthusiastic and engaged professional who enjoys working with a diverse group of Court personnel and customers and lives the DC Courts’ values of Accountability, Excellence, Fairness, Integrity, Respect, and Transparency.Please note that authorization for the release of your adult criminal record revealing any convictions and forfeitures, and any criminal cases currently pending before the courts is required.  If you are selected for the position, a criminal history records check will be conducted.

Education
