This position serves as the Security Guard for the Clinton Service Unit includes one vacancy in Clinton, OK and one vacancy in El Reno, OK. The incumbent in this position is responsible for the safeguarding our patients, employees, visitors, and facilities. The incumbent reports to the Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist.

Duties

Patrols building and grounds to prevent property, patients, employees and visitors from the threat of danger. Enforces Health Center parking rules and regulations and monitors parking areas. Provides internal building security by monitoring doors, locks, windows, and examines and reports any tampered locks. Uses daily sign in journal making notations of unusual circumstances out of the ordinary.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: GS-04: Applicant(s) must meet one of the following minimum requirements to meet the GS-04 level: Your resume must demonstrate at least six (6) year of general AND specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-03 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following security guard work and/or tasks: administrative, technical, clerical, military, or other work following written procedures, rules, or regulations in contacts with coworkers or members of the public to provide a service, respond to inquiries, or obtain information; provide service with a Federal, State, municipal, local, or private protective organization that involved the protection of property against such hazards as fire, theft, damage, accident, trespass; or maintaining order and protecting life. Two (2) years of education above the high school level in an accredited college or university. Combination of post-high school education and general experience that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
