About the Position: Position is established to serve primarily as a Program Manager for the multiple programs within the Operations Division.
Duties
Maintains responsibility and performs oversight for the assigned program.
Identifies and resolves sensitive issues and critical problems.
Provides guidance and instruction to subordinate OPM's during the development of critical or significant project documents, i.e., the Project Management Plan (PMP).
Attends regional, national or other significant meetings and conferences with representatives of HQUSACE, other Divisions and Districts, Army and Air Force Commands, other agencies and state local.
Serves as a Project Manager (PM), responsible for the overall coordination and execution of assigned projects and/or installations.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:1) Experience managing a program, including coordinating, and communicating with stakeholders; 2) Experience providing program oversight that includes serving as a liaison between the agency and stakeholders; 3) Experience coordinating and executing projects for an installation. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
