You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT of SWFLANT KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will lead the Continuous Process/ Performance Improvement (CPl) effort for SWFLANT.
You will be the technical expert for the development of on-site CPl processes required to effectively streamline operations.
You will be knowledgeable of causal analysis principles and techniques required to facilitate problem resolution using the appropriate causal analysis tool.
You will coordinate the expansion of Lean concepts and proposes Lean projects to the Command, identifying projected resources and return on investment.
You will establish and identify to the Command Lean familiarization training needs and then schedule, attend, oversee, and provide feedback on results of Lean training.
You will coordinate and monitor government and contractor CPl activities at SWFLANT to ensure that the appropriate processes are followed and that affected operations are positively impacted.
You will develop, maintain, and report local Lean metrics to validate that CPl initiatives produce positive results.
You will provide leadership for development/ sustainment of CPl infrastructure and related activities.
You will gather and present data for management use in assessing the effectiveness of CPl initiatives.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 Equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing program operations (e.g. Continuous Process/Performance Improvement, Lean Six Sigma, American Society for Quality) or demonstrated experience facilitating teams/working groups in problem solving.
