You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) for TSC SAN DIEGO.

Duties

You will serve as head of the Processing Department, providing supervision and management of daily operations to include retirements, separations, retention, and strength gains/losses of military personnel. You will plan, schedule and lead studies and projects to evaluate pay and personnel programs and/or functions. You will assist with budget administration functions to include formulation of annual budgetary estimates to support plans, personnel, programs and activities. You will monitor organizational workload, productivity, and make adjustments to meet departmental objectives. You will develop new or modify existing practices and standard operating procedures and evaluate organization status for audit readiness. You will perform supervisory duties of assigning work, providing technical oversight, developing performance plans, interviewing candidates for positions, arranging training and taking disciplinary measures of subordinate personnel.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing technical advice and guidance on federal personnel and pay transactions and systems to subordinates and serviced commands; 2) Preparing and conducting briefings and presentations to leadership on personnel and pay programs and systems; 3) Managing personnel staffing functions and work flow processes to ensure organizational effectiveness; and 4) Reviewing statistical data, monitoring operations and analyzing reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
