About the Position: Serves as Chief, Fielded Devices Team, Integration & Analysis Division, Training Support and Integration Directorate (TSAID), Army Training Support Center located at Fort Eustis, VA. This position is eligible for regular and recurring telework - as determined by the agency policy.

Duties

Responsible for directing functions which encompass life-cycle management of training devices and training support materiel Army-wide (CONUS AND OCONUS) and in support of Foreign Military Sales and Military Assistance Programs Implement provisions of and support such personnel management programs as equal employment opportunity, labor management, upward Mobility, and federal employment programs. Participate in the final review of Integrated Logistics, Materiel Fielding Plan, and Basis of Issue Plans and/or distribution plans to assure feasible logistics support and reduce impact on organization. Plans, directs, coordinates and manages team operations.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • SECRET CLEARANCE - This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • TEMPORARY DUTY TRAVEL: TDY may be required up to 25% of the time.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Cost Estimation and AnalysisLeadershipOrganizational AwarenessTeam Building Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). NOTE: Applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade and specialized experience requirements within thirty (30) days after the closing date of the announcement.
