You will serve as a INSTRUMENT MECHANIC in the ???????MARINE DEPOT MAINTENANCE COMMAND of MCLC ALBANY GA.
Duties
You will responsible for the test, calibration, certification, repair, modification, rebuild, and overhaul of physical, dimensional, and optical test, measuring and diagnostic instruments, equipment, and devices.
You will perform measurements of pressure, temperature, mass, force, torque, dimensions, optical quantities, rotational velocity, humidity, flow, and vapor analysis in the calibration and certification process.
You will analyzes test data and accepts or rejects test instruments based on measurement results. Incumbent prepares technical reports concerning test instrument deficiencies and performs necessary repairs and adjustments.
You will performs repair, rebuild, overhaul, and modification on physical, dimensional and optical test, measuring, and diagnostic instruments, equipment, and devices in the laboratory.
You will analyzes manufacturer’s data, TM’s drawings, and blueprints to plan and execute special measurements.
You will provide initial calibration and acceptance testing of new equipment.
You will will review technical data, prepares calibration procedures, and documents measurement techniques based on local requirements. Incumbent evaluates new calibration procedures and reports problems.

- Must be willing and able to be Recalled to Duty outside of normal working hours.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- You must be willing and able to lift and/or carry loads/items up to 40 pounds in weight.
