About the Position: Serve as 1st Infantry Division IG Office focal point for interaction with external inspection agencies. As the senior inspector in leading other inspectors in planning, coordinating, conducting and writing the completion reports on all inspections.

Duties

Serve as primary administrative official to provide continuity of office policies and procedures. Review the composition and composes routine correspondence for the Inspector General. Ensure IG procedures are uniformly administered by coordinating all staff actions between staff elements (inspections/assistance/investigations). Maintain comprehensive database(s) to store inspections and assistance information used to prepare reports and trends. Develop a training program and trains new IG personnel on all aspects of administrative requirements. Conduct long-range planning and analysis for OIP inspections. Assist in the development of inspection plans, collection of background and documentary data, analyzes data, determines root cause of systemic problems. Organize and conduct pre-inspection training activities. Design and develop command climate surveys and questionnaires. Collect, organize, and review pertinent inspection data to determine and resolve significant problems.
