This position is located at Defense Logistics Agency Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Duties

Provides technical assistance to managers concerning appropriated and non-appropriated fund budgeting. Ensures the correct production of budgets and their execution including compliance with appropriate regulations, etc. Reviews and analyzes financial reports to identify trends, working capital and the NAFI's financial position. Evaluates established internal policies, procedures and management controls to ensure adequacy. Monitors compliance. Recommends changes and suggests solutions to managers. Prepares/reviews return on investment schedules for capital projects; assists and guides managers deciding on capital reinvestments.

Requirements

Qualifications

1) Interpreting and assessing program financial performance using standard financial management systems. 2) Interpreting balance sheet and profit and loss statement results. 3) Requiring the application of commercial budgeting techniques. Highly Preferred: Must possess at least three (3) years of experience with DOD NAF MWR in a field that requires financial knowledge. Knowledge of AR215-1 or equivalent and Internal Controls. Knowledge of NAF and APF (UFM - Uniform Funding Management) Funding. Experience and Skills must be clearly reflected on your resume.
