Positions are located in the Office of Nuclear Material Safety & Safeguards (NMSS), Division of Rulemaking of Rulemaking Environmental, and Financial Support and the Division of Resource Management and Administration.
The supervisors are Melissa Ralph (REFS) and Monique Williams (DRMA).
Positions are Non-Bargaining Unit.
Positions ARE NOT subject to Confidential Financial Disclosure reporting requirements.
Position ARE NOT subject to security ownership restriction reporting requirements.
Duties
The successful candidate will perform the full range of Administrative Assistant duties, which include, but not limited to.Serving as the Administrative Assistant in an assigned Division, performing the full range of administrative and office administrative support functions for the Division. Serves as the lead for lower-graded Branch administrative assistants on a variety of administrative support issues within the Division.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service (GG-07) or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
1. Demonstrated skill with computer-based applications, including Office365, ADAMS, E-Concurrence, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and other database applications (i.e. maintaining automated tracking systems.
2. Demonstrated ability to provide administrative support in a variety of areas (time and attendance reporting, travel, etc.).
3. Writes in a clear, concise, and organized manner. Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation, and correspondence procedures sufficient to prepare and review outgoing material for correctness, proper format, and completeness.
4. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in handling multiple assignments with competing priorities, often under considerable pressure to meet deadlines.
5. Demonstrated ability to deal tactfully, efficiently and professionally with all levels of personnel, and to work collaboratively within a team.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as: Experience that demonstrates thorough knowledge and familiarity with Federal administrative policies, procedures and software programs to properly prepare and review outgoing correspondence, make travel arrangements, prepare travel requests and vouchers, complete time and leave cards, arrange meetings, maintain calendars, manage ticket tracking, and perform other general administrative duties. Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office365 Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) is required. Knowledge of NRC systems (HCM Cloud, ADAMS, and eTravel, etc.) is preferred.
