About the Position: The Joint Munitions Command provides the Joint Force with ready, reliable, lethal munitions at the speed of war. JMC's mission is to support the production, storage, distribution, and demilitarization of munitions. This position serves as Equal Employment Manager located at Rock Island Arsenal.

Duties

Serve as the Director of the Equal Employment Opportunity office and manages the overall EEO program for the Command Headquarters. Supervise the work of the EEO program for compliance and accuracy with existing laws and regulations. Provide command level leadership and technical advice to commanders and program officials concerning organization, staffing, facilities, and personnel assigned to the program. Advise the Commander, Chief of Staff, key staff officials, and managers at all levels concerning equal employment practices.

Requirements

  • TDY up to 25% may be required.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
