Duties
THIS IS A T5 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION
The primary purpose of the MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST, GS-0343-12, is to serve as a technical authority/lead project facilitator across the command for Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) initiative. Advises management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducts special studies, and proposes options and alternatives representing the command. The organizational goals or objectives of this position are to provide command-wide advice, guidance, and expertise in developing and disseminating policies and guidelines for the CPI initiative.
Qualifications
MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST, GS-0343-12: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-11 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: Experience serving as the recognized technical advisor to installations across the component/command in CPI; Experience planning, directing, integrating, and executing all aspects of the CPI program within cost, schedule, performance, and/or system supportability requirements; Experience working with senior leadership in planning, organizing, and overseeing the projects of command activities; Experience recommending process improvements, improving quality, reducing costs, and establishing appropriate process metrics and process controls; Experience preparing and submitting operating and capital expenditure budgets.
