About the Position: Serves as an Information Technology Specialist (Supervisory IT Project Manager) in the Installation Management Command HQ, Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO).
Duties
Ensures compatibility with operations and management policy and architecture matters pertaining to IT systems management within the Army.
Develops business cases in recognition of supported populations, cost of services, cost of ownership, and return on investment.
Coordinates the integration of the various information technologies and project teams, both government and contractor, that make up the IMCOM OCTO.
Develops technology products which provide a systematic approach to developing knowledge-based systems for the real-time operations and management of the IMCOM data infrastructure.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes:
Interpreting policies and business rules related to the development/integration of new systems, software/hardware development, and application interfaces.
Developing or implementing information systems security plans and procedures.
Monitoring project activities and resources to mitigate risk. Implementing or maintaining quality assurance processes.
Evaluating, monitoring, or ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
