You will serve as a Secretary (OA) for the Engineering and Planning Department- 200 for PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.9% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time. Salary for: GS-06: $45,994 - $59,794 GS-07: $51,110 - $66,445

Duties

You will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical, secretarial, and administrative duties related to the management of the organization. You will utilize computer supported interactive office systems in the daily completion of duties. You will be responsible for maintaining the Department Head and Chief Engineer's daily calendar and establishing priorities, and scheduling meetings and appointments.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

To qualify for the GS-07, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Provides clear and timely correspondence via email, phone calls, on-line communication applications, memos and communication software (e.g. microsoft teams). Helpful, always seeking to add value. Efficiently manages Supervisor's schedule. Maintains a Can Do attitude. Resourceful in troubleshooting issues. Clarifies and verifies to celarly understand needs and expectations. Schedules meetings. To qualify for the GS-06, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Provides clear and timely correspondence via email, phone calls, on-line communication applications, memos and communication software (e.g. microsoft teams). Helpful, always seeking to add value. Efficiently manages Supervisor's schedule. Maintains a Can Do attitude.
