This position will be located at the DCAA - Defense Contract Audit Institute in Sandy Springs, GA.
Serves as Chief, Operations Branch for the Defense Contract Audit Institute (DCAI), Human Capital and Resource Management Directorate, Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA). Responsible for leading a team of administrative, information technology, and training support personnel in the day-to-day administrative and operational requirements for the training institute.
Duties
Serves as Chief, Operations Branch Defense Contract Audit Institute (DCAI).
Ensure delivery of the full range of administrative and operational services to the Defense Contract Audit Institute (DCAI). Align branch activities to support Agency policies, procedures, and mission, and directives of management.
Supervise and lead personnel and varying responsibilities and grade levels and provide directions and guidance to assigned staff regarding workload requirements.
Responsible for day-to-day strategic level planning, define scope of work, develop project plans and timelines, and determine resource requirements.
Analyze trends and metrics to develop programs and policies that enable DCAI to support/maximize efficient and effective administrative and operational activities of DCAI.
Partner and engage with external and internal leadership to build and publish the Agency's annual training schedule. Advise and consult on training and operational matters pertaining to DCAI.
Provide oversight and management of the DCAA Learning Management System. Prepare staff papers, reports, dashboards, analyses, and technical reports for DCAI leaderships.

Qualifications
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
You must meet the minimum qualification requirements as stated in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, http://www.opm.gov/qualifications/Standards/group-stds/gs-prof.asp.
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 or equivalent level. Specialized experience must be documented in your resume.Specialized Experience is experience overseeing day-to-day responsibilities for a training organization, to include scheduling and booking resources, managing student registrations, reconciling reports, coordinating with many stakeholders, managing data and technical systems, administering a Learning Management System, and integrating information flow between training and other business units.
