You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant (Military) in the NRD NEW YORK NY.
Duties
You will review records and processes actions.
You will ensure all requirements related to specific actions are met and in accordance with current regulations, policies and procedures.
You will establish and maintain all required forms, records and files pertaining to assigned work.
You will enter, verify and update data in automated systems as required.
You will prepare reports, spreadsheets and other documents in draft and final form using word processing software or other automated programs.
You will ensure all required entries are completed accurately and timely into the appropriate computer software systems.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing automated systems to maintain personnel records; 2) Obtaining personnel data to complete actions; and 3) Tracking personnel actions to ensure completion.
