Duties
You will provide prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries sustained during rigorous training.
You will provide injury prevention instruction to staff.
You will ensure facilities and equipment are in place to minimize injury risk
You will apply a broad range of qualitative and quantitative measures in order to assess matters pertaining to musculoskeletal injury prevention during training.
You will provide injury reports on a regular basis
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Provide injury prevention instructions to all staff members, as well as providing emergency first add and assisting in determining the severity of an injury. Assess and potential injury patterns present and take preventative measures to eliminate patterns in place. Ensure equipment is in place to prevent injuries and provide injury reports on a regular basis.
Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree: major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position. This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education(external link) at the time the degree was obtained.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
Education
Education: in lieu of one year of specialized experience, 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or a combination of education and experience that totals to 100% of the requirement, may be substituted.
