About the Position: This position located at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Directorate of Public Works, Vicksburg, MS.

Duties

Establishes property management for DPW work centers in accordance with Army standards for property and supply inventories. Working with logistics and procurement officials, ensures issue and turn in actions are properly recorded to maintain accurate hand receipt documentation. Manages key control at top level for DPW including issue, replacement, and turn in of locks and keys for office space, storage areas, vehicles, etc. Develops requests for new fleet vehicles and trailers with procurement and logistics work centers and ensures proper administrative licensing of government vehicles and trailers for on-road use as applicable. Performs as the primary credit card holder within delegated procurement guidelines of the GPC program. Assists in providing problem resolutions, developing creative solutions, and updating administrative policies and procedures for sensitive issues including work process actions. Develops requests for new fleet vehicles and trailers with procurement and logistics work centers, and ensures proper administrative licensing of government vehicles and trailers for on-road use as applicable. Prepares requests for acceptance by analysis of work content and funding; checks for duplication of previous project work requests, and confirms work descriptions are complete.
