You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT (OFFICE AUTOMATION) in the Administration Department of the Administrative Directorate NAVOPHTHALSUPPTRACT VA.
Duties
You will collect and analyze data, prepare reports, and compose correspondence and directives pertaining to subject matter which falls under command purview.
You will update, revise, sort, calculate and manipulate data in spreadsheets to meet multiple report formats and produce standard reports.
You will independently perform various general clerical duties in support of the organization’s office operations.
You will receive and answer routine telephone inquiries or refer to appropriate staff.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience performing a full range of administrative support duties such as preparing, receiving, reviewing, and verifying documents.
Experience drafting correspondence between two or more parties.
Experience with DoD policies and procedures.
Experience with customer service i.e. listening to needs, resolving issues and providing clear, concise information.
Experience updating calendars, scheduling, coordinating, and organizing appointments, meetings, events and deadlines.
Experience welcoming visitors and/or employees and managing their presence.
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
