This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Office of Child Care (OCC), Office of the Director, located in Washington DC, District of Columbia.

Duties

Participates with the leadership team in identifying messaging goals related to implementation of the Child Care and Development Fund. Represents Office of Child Care (OCC) in collaborative communication activities. Supports and coordinates responses to controlled communications requests.

Qualifications

Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Minimum Qualification requirements as noted below. Minimum Qualifications: GS-14: You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing (3) of the (4) duties listed below: Utilizing social media tools in a child care or human services setting; Designing and/or developing marketing strategies and tools in order to develop and/or administer long-range communication programs in a child care or human services setting; Communicating publicly to deliver briefings or information to varied audiences; Organizing, writing, editing, and/or presenting information via the Web.
