You will serve as a Inventory Management Specialist for NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO at NAS Lemoore.
Duties
You will provide technical expertise in the Inventory Accuracy Program.
You will generate regular reports and statistics as required to ensure warehouse and distribution functions are meeting NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center operational goals.
You will maintain monthly metrics data on inventory accuracy operations and ensure timeliness of information.
You will analyze, plan, and develop inventory accuracy methods, which influence both future and current mission capabilities and goals.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Inventory Management Specialist experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-7) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying a practical knowledge of a wide range of well established and commonly applied supply principles, concepts, and methodologies pertaining to Inventory Management in one or more of the technical supply specializations or of supply program operations. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following: 1) Preparing annual physical inventories and location audits showcasing knowledge of inventory procedures; 2)Performing analytical assignments involving specific issues associated with inventory management or studying and recommending solutions for a segment of a broad study involving several inventory issues or problems; 3) Maintaining monthly metrics data on inventory accuracy operations and ensuring timeliness of information as well as forwarding to leadership as appropriate; and 4)Using Enterprise Resource Planning software (such as N-ERP) in the course of your regular duties.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
