About the Position: Serves as Supply Technician for US Army Cadet Command, 4th Brigade.
Duties
Provides staff assistance in all areas of supply and logistics management for the Senior Reserve Officer Training Corps (SROTC) Program and affiliates within the Task Force structure.
Implements and/or executes changes to regulations using Department of Army Form 4610-R, Tables of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) and Common Tables of Allowance (CTA) affecting Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) supply.
Forecasts, requests and manages the Operations and Maintenance, Army (OMA) and Military Personnel, Army (MPA) budgets for the host program and affiliates within the task force structure.
Maintain the document register for supply actions, manage supply due-in reconciliations with requisition records, maintain inventory records and process adjustments In Accordance With (IAW) Army regulation.
Issues and accounts for small arms and ammunition.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position may require 6-12 weeks Temporary Duty Away (TDY), approximately 30% of the time in support of United States Army Cadet Command (USACC) Cadet Summer Training, or Cadet Command seminars/classes, and other events as directed.
- Must possess and/or obtain and maintain a valid state drivers license.
- May be required to obtain and maintain a Commercial Drivers License with Hazardous Material Endorsement.
- This position is limited to persons who have not had a conviction of domestic violence under the Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968 (18 U.S.C. 922).
- Completion of a Unit Armor Course may be required. If selected to perform this duty, the Command will ensure the employee completes and maintains the Certification Training.
- Completion of Contracting Officers Representative course may be required. If selected to perform this duty, the Command will ensure the employee completes and maintains the Certification Training.
- This position has a requirement to lift up to 50lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
- This position is a Testing Designated Position subject to applicant testing and random drug testing. Selectees will be required to sign DA Form 5019 requiring participation in random drug urinalysis testing.
- May perform additional duties as the Unit Prevention Leader (UPL), which requires travel to conduct testing.
- If selected to perform these duties the Command will ensure the incumbent completes and maintains the UPL Certification Training IAW AR-600-85 and maintain the system, testing supplies, and serve as point of contact for the program.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) Receipt and storage of supply items, 2.) Conducting inventories, prepare reports to document supply transactions. 3.) Experience with a governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to the unique requirements to plan and execute a supply program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
