Qualifications
NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
To qualify for the GS-13 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level defined as providing leadership, oversight or technical expertise for a budget and/or data management program of limited scope; and coaching, mentoring or leading others.
To qualify for the GS-14 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level defined as providing leadership, oversight or technical expertise for a budget and/or data management program and Superfund Site of limited scope; and coaching, mentoring or leading others.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of the principles and methods of administering environmental protection programs.
Knowledge of guidance related to the implementation of the rules and regulations under the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA), Federal Managers' Financial Integrity Act (FMFIA), and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA).
Ability to lead staff by evaluating work performance and giving advice, counsel, and instruction.
