You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT in the Engineering Technical Services Department of Naval Air Technical Data and Engineering Service Center (NATEC).
Duties
You will use an electronic file archive system to maintain accurate file keeping.
You will analyze departmental statistical reports to report any trending abnormalities to senior level management for action.
You will arrange travel or training orders for staff members by using automated systems (e.g., Defense Travel System [DTS]).
You will review records to verify that descriptions of the records capture the elements of information needed by all record users.
You will explain an organization's programs, policies, or requirements to others.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 vice GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serving as the primary point of contact between Naval Air Technical Data and Engineering Service Center (NATEC) headquarters and field sites on a wide range of personnel, administrative and financial matters. 2) Utilizing skills in software applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Management Information Systems (MIS) for cost and data analysis. 3) Coordinating with Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to establish and revalidate sponsorship of contractor representatives with NATEC 4) Serving as liaison and technical expert for the interpretation and application of temporary travel directives, policies, procedures, laws and regulations.
