About the Position: This position is with the 81st Readiness Division, Facility Planning Branch, Department of Public Works, Fort Jackson, South Carolina
This is a Temporary Promotion position not to exceed 1 year
Duties
Provide long-range planning, program direction, coordination, and evaluation of acquisition, utilization, asset management and disposal of real estate.
Review and provide technical advice and guidance to all aspects of realty projects to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, laws, and policies.
Execute the Army Reserve real estate and real property program and implement real estate and real property policy guidance.
Draft correspondence, information papers, point papers, and provide management recommendations associated with planning real estate actions.
Organize information to coordinate, plan, and report acquisitions by purchase, lease, condemnation, exchange, property disposal, survey locations, and inspections.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to maintain Valid State Drivers License.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes reviewing disposal, acquisition plans, "right of way", easements, deeds, leases and conducting real property inventory analysis; preparing federal real property reports or documents; and analyzing real property systems data for compliance with Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness requirements within various federal information systems such as Federal Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) or Headquarters Installation Information System (HQIIS). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
