You will serve as an Electronics Technician in the AMPHIB Integration Branch, in the Availability Integration Division within the, Modernization & Installation Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

Duties

You will act as Senior Technical Representative (Combat System Test Integrator) for Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) and Program Executive Office Ships (PEO) for all New Construction matters. You will provide expert technical and leadership for the integration, development, fleet introduction, and support of the combat system and all supporting ancillary equipment of ships. You will provide technical advice and support to landing platform/dock. You will lead Post Delivery efforts for new construction ships, including Work Item and Alteration Certification Standardization of work item tasking. You will assist the Hull Manager in Post Delivery work package development. You will develop new drawings and identification of approved sources and vendors that can manufacture the material.

  • This is a Bargaining Unit position.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be occasionally required to work onboard ships.

Qualifications
