You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST (NUCLEAR) in the Nuclear Test Engineering Division (Code 2340) of the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department (Code 2300) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Duties

You will conduct a variety of studies, related to the substantive programs, process and functions of the Division. You will given special projects or other ad hoc assignments such as assessing the financial “health” of the organization and/or projects; answering or responding to critiques, audits and other inquiries about organization’s function, etc. You will plan, coordinate and provide guidance and support to the supervisors based on facts obtained through analytical studies, investigation and technical evaluations.

Requirements

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

GS-12 Grade level Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating shipyard program processes to develop and provide recommendations on workload and manpower projections, long range plans and initiatives, materials for informal/formal meetings, and organizational self-assessments; and conducting data processing, data development, performance tracking and cost analysis assessments to ensure management and control of improving safety, quality, cost, security, and admin. GS-11 Grade level Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

For the GS-11 Grade level
Successful completion of Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
