Duties
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a Logistics Management Specialist, you will use your knowledge of and experience with Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) to optimize business results and customer experience by:
Supporting procurement, storage, sustainment, inventory accounting, and transport of Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) assets.
Supporting the purchase, accountability, acquisition, inventory management, maintenance, replacement, transportation, and final disposition of assets. While improving logistical planning and execution for deployment of assets.
Overseeing contracts, grants, awards or cooperative agreements with full responsibility for carrying out all required monitoring and management duties.
Finalizing emergency response and logistical plans, protocols, and standard operating procedures for execution of complex and evolving logistics function.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following:
1. Coordinating and overseeing the operational readiness of procurement partners, vendors, storage facilities, and national cargo carriers contracted to support stockpile assets.
2. Providing advice and technical assistance for the development of contracts, grants, or cooperative agreements for professional or other services.
3. Developing emergency response or logistical plans, protocols and standard operating procedures for execution of logistics functions.
