Duties

The primary duties of this position are to provide direct support and assistance to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Deputy Director, Finance in completing mission requirements for the Financial Management Division (FMD) through the performance of a range of recurring duties and through a focused direct support effort on special projects, emerging requirements, and Division initiatives, as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance or a related field appropriate to the work of position AND four years of experience that demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of accepted accounting/financial management principles, concepts, theories and techniques, OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above. Knowledge of the Marine Corps and government funding processes preferred.Preferred candidate experience would include ability to research, resolve and document complex financial problems. Ability to implement automated data processing financial procedures, and controls to resolve systematic or operational problems. Working knowledge of software applications such as: Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Oracle Financials and Hyperion Budget & Planning.
