You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST in the Command Advisory Department of PSNS and IMF.
Duties
You will provide a wide range of staffing services which include providing advice that requires extensive research and analysis associated with the design, development, implementation and tracking of strategic plans to recruit new employees.
You will serve as a consultant to management on all personnel staffing matters with responsibility for resolving controversial, complex and difficult types of problem cases.
You will collaborate with staff and Human Resources counterparts to discuss significant staffing issues develop innovative staffing solutions and alternate courses of action.
You will conduct analysis and assist activity in developing organizational design, position management and succession planning based on the mission, current staff and future staffing requirements of the activity/command being studied.
You will gain thorough knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, executive orders, policies, practices and issues related to the Federal personnel system as it relates to staffing, recruitment, and placement.
You will gain knowledge of the mission, organizational structure, policies, and procedures of the activities supported to be able to assist in restructuring and developing staffing plans.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing human resources administrative support with staffing and recruitment processes.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree
