Duties
Contact school officials to coordinate school testing sessions.
Score examinations and send results to appropriate personnel.
Perform data entry of results and enter information into multiple data and tracking systems.
Prepare written correspondence to facilitate planning.
Request and track recruiters to proctor examinations.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a driver's license.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 15% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes work that involves: 1) coordinating events to conduct aptitude and qualification examinations; 2) proving pre-and post-examination briefings to students; 3) administering examinations to include distributing, scoring, and entering results into data systems; and 4) performing quality control to ensure information/documents are correctly completed. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). See note below for in-service placements.
Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample with three or fewer errors.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06). See note below for in-service placements.
NOTE: One year of specialized experience at the second lower level (GS-05) may be creditable for in-service applicants. However, for outside applicants such as those without current or prior Federal competitive or excepted service, one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower level (GS-06) is required.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
