About the Position: This position is located with the Dept of Army, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G6, IT Planning & Programming Division, located at the Pentagon.

Duties

Serve as a Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) Resources Integrator for Command, Control, Communication and Computers (C4)/Information Technology (IT)/Cyber(C4/IT/Cyber). Manage or support assigned C4/IT/Cyber portfolios for the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-6. Perform reviews and analyses of current or projected C4/IT/Cyber programs including policies, planning, program development, program content, budget formulation, budget justification, and budget execution. Support a full range of activities associated with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes in coordination with HQDA organizations. Synthesize analysis and visually presents recommendations to leadership in a clear and concise manner. Perform data analysis of financial data within agency systems. Develop and execute the strategy for gathering and analyzing data to drive meaningful results for the mission.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Confidential. Executive Order13526 (Secret) security clearance.
  • This position may require travel up to 5%.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the federal government or equivalent which includes utilizing management and organizational principles and practices to support a full range of activities associated with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes; analyzing complex interrelationships of programs and appropriations to assist in performance of cost analyses of C4/IT/Cyber requirements for review, analysis, and evaluation of manpower utilization; providing analytical and evaluation methods necessary to develop long and short-range plans and guidance; support implementation of IT strategies, policies, and programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS -13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementOral CommunicationPlanning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
