You will serve as a Production Controller in the Production Control Branch, Maintenance Division, Motor Transport Department of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.
Duties
You will maintain status of current work in progress, current shop capability, and shop backlog to determine work priorities, available support services, and overall work requirements to ensure a balanced workload is maintained.
You will track work assignment, work start dates, work status, and work completion for both in-house work and service support work.
You will prepare list of equipment scheduled for preventative maintenance checks and services, safety inspections, certification inspections, and other recurring checks and services such as emissions tests and weight handling equipment load tests.
You will collect and compile data to provide management with statistical and production reports and other products.
You will prepare scheduled and on demand reports to provide data and information related to the execution of the overall maintenance effort to include work status, costs, productivity, efficiency, and compliance.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Planning, scheduling maintenance, and coordinating service and repairs; 2) Tracking maintenance work using a variety of software programs to include word processing, spreadsheets, and automated databases; 3) Identifying and resolving production issues utilizing knowledge of the transportation industry, maintenance and repair terminology, shop procedures, and personnel and shop capabilities; 4) Analyzing and devising progression of repair work to ensure balanced workload and completion of deliverables; and 5) Preparing statistical and production data reports to provide work production status to management.
