About the Position: Serve as a Supply Management Specialist at the Detachment level for the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command (USACIDC). Performs supply management and property accountability; maintains automated supply databases; conducts local purchases, receipt of equipment, inventory, and storage; and maintains property accountability and disposal.

Duties

Provide Commander/Special Agent-in-Charge (SAC) with 100% property accountability and control of all Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) nonexpendable equipment that belongs to the CID organizations. Accomplish supply management and accountability utilizing Army Enterprise Systems Integration Portal (AESIP) and maintains consistent, accurate and prompt supply management. Plan, direct and coordinate supply activities that involve local purchase of equipment and supplies. Issue supplies and establishes accountability, coordinates for transportation, storage, and disposition. Provide appropriate training to the primary and sub hand receipt holders and newly assigned hand receipt holders. Coordinate shipping and receiving transactions of equipment throughout the assigned area of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • LAUTENBERG AMENDMENT: This position authorizes the incumbent to have access to firearms and ammunition.
  • Candidates who have been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence are not qualified for this position.
  • Candidates under consideration will be required to certify whether they have ever been convicted of such an offense.
  • False or fraudulent information provided by candidates is criminally punishable by fine or imprisonment (Title 18, U.S.C., Section 1001).
  • This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program.
  • The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R (Condition of Employment for Certain Positions Identified as Critical Under the Drug Abuse Testing Program).
  • Failure to submit specimen or sign form will result in incumbent being subject to adverse action proceedings IAW appropriate regulations. Pre-employment drug test and random drug testing while in position.
  • Any person who has been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence cannot lawfully possess a firearm or ammunition (Title 18, U.S.C., Section 922(g)(91)).

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
