You will serve as a Library Technician in the Logistical Technical Data Branch (TRF 431), Maintenance Management Division (TRF 430), Planning Department (TRF 400), TRIDENT Refit Facility (TFR) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will be responsible for performing customer service to include a varying sequence of documentation searching, filing and distribution.
You will support the operation of an assigned TRF Logistics Technical Data (LTD) Resources Center/Library.
You will locate requested LDT documentation for users through searches of classification/indexing systems.
You will perform related duties including quality control coordination tasks required to ensure the quality of products/services resulting from work performed.
You will maintain assigned work areas in a neat, clean, safe and orderly manner.
You will perform duties which involve exposure to a variety of industrial working conditions and environments.
Requirements
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- Must be able to obtain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty AND must be able to maintain the required level of clearance while employed in the subject position.
- Selectee will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination; position requires frequent standing, kneeling, stooping, bending and working in uncomfortable positions.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current IT level II designation.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-04) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience installing unclassified changes and revisions into variety of tech manuals and documentation maintain by the LTDC.
Experience compiling, assembling and distributing logistical technical data for ARs and CWPs technical data packages to Work Control Group for dissemination to work-centers.
Experience using Maintenance Management information and Logistics Integrated Support (ILS) systems, i.e. LDS, TDMS, PRMMS, ATIS, CITIS, HIS, TDMIS, IPDM/ALICE, NSLC, SUBMEPP WEB-BASE to identify LTD and support requirements.
Experience with LTDC'S FMMA, SWS Weapon and QA Audit and Inventory Controls required by the JFMM.
Experience using of software applications, i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook E-mail to manage LTD files and status.

Education
Successful completion of 4 years of education above high school

This education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
