You will serve as a Security Specialist in the Security Department of STRATEGIC WEAPONS FACILITY PACIFIC.
Duties
You will be designated representative and Program Manager for the SWFPAC OPSEC program with responsibilities to interpret, develop and implement regulations and guidelines for the SWFPAC OPSEC Program.
You will be responsible to create and provide briefs and recommendations to the Commanding Officer and senior leadership to obtain consensus and/or approval for policy decisions.
You will establish and lead OPSEC working groups, create and maintain plans and policies, conduct analyses to identify and develop the SWFPAC Critical Information List, identify threats, assess risk, identify vulnerabilities, and countermeasures.
You will develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive OPSEC training, education, and awareness program to ensure all assigned personnel are familiar with the significant contribution of the OPSEC program to the overall effectiveness.
You will maintain oversight of all SWFPAC activities that are OPSEC sensitive and advise appropriate personnel about the organization’s posture and offer recommendations and assistance to eliminate vulnerabilities.
You will conduct Security and OPSEC oversight, surveys, inspections, and monitors in support of SWFPAC production and security operations.
You will provide direct security assessment, counsel, and direction to SWFPAC security projects, initiatives and assignments on behalf of the Security Support Division Supervisor and SWFPAC Security Officer.
You will develop, implement, and manage unique security specifications and Standard Operating Procedures to implement the assigned security policies and requirements unique to SWFPAC.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position requires the incumbent obtain the following core Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification: Security Fundamentals Professional Certificate (SFPC).
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-2 pay band or GS-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying operations security principles and methodologies to monitor security control systems for the purpose of safeguarding and authorizing access to classified information for a Nuclear Weapons Security program.
