You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the G-8 Operations Office of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND.

Duties

You will perform or advises on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will formulate budgets and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alterative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations. You will plan work, sets priorities and schedules work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse affect on regular and recurring work. You will develop perfo1mance standards and evaluates employee performance. You will hear and resolve employee complaints, referring series complaints lacking resolution to higher level supervision.

• This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
• This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ability to obtain and maintain financial information and items, Communication and Analytical Skills, and Skills in using Automated Systems.
