You will serve as a PROCUREMENT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN (OA) in the Supply Division of the Air Operations Department of NAVSTA.

Duties

You will provide advice, assistance, and submit a variety of date reports to the Air Operations Officer, NS Norfolk, Deputy Air Operations Officer, and Commander. You will review the Air Operations budget daily to ensure accuracy. You will serve as the primary Government Purchase Cardholder in AIROPS. You will validate charges and resolve discrepancies with supply Department. You will receive materials from Supply for delivery to proper work center.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

FOR GS-6 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting with the preparation of supply requirements, ensuring supply support for overhaul, repair, replacement etc., of specialized equipment and parts; 2) Supporting the Government Purchase Card Program and following procedures for reconciling and submitting e-statements for certification and payment; 3) Monitoring the operation of a budget to assist with budget projections and to apply correct budget data; 4) Researching and applying supply regulations, policies, and procedures that pertain to the FAA Supply procedures and Navy Supply publications. FOR GS-7 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing supply requirements, ensuring supply support for overhaul, repair, replacement etc., of specialized equipment and parts; 2) Processing actions within the Government Purchase Card Program and following procedures for reconciling and submitting e-statements for certification and payment; 3) Operating a budget to assist with budget projections and to apply correct budget data; 4) Researching and applying supply regulations, policies, and procedures that pertain to the FAA Supply procedures and Navy Supply publications.
