You will serve as an Engineering Technician in the Research & Development Group, Weapons & Energetics Dept., Applied Manufacturing Technology Division, Support Services Branch of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Duties

You will assist in data gathering and technical data analysis. You will plan, coordinate, and evaluate, tooling and gaging requirements supporting shop operations. You will manage the tooling inventory for the Division including load bearing safety gear and specialized weapons gages. You will plan and coordinate receiving and delivery information with the Government cardholders and the end users.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DT-01 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Demonstrating knowledge of MS Office software including word processing, spreadsheets and databases; 2) Organizing and prioritizing work, handling multiple assignments and meeting deadlines; 3) Working knowledge of the methods used in processing, handling, and storing of materials and equipment; 4) Demonstrating excellent customer service while managing a high volume of work, and the ability to work well with other members of the team. Substitution for qualifying experience:

Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree (a) with major study in an appropriate field of engineering, construction, or industrial technology; or (b) that included at least 24 semester hours in any combination of courses such as engineering, engineering or industrial technology, construction, physics, drafting, surveying, physical science, or mathematics.
