Duties

You will plan, organize, and perform work required to ensure proper customer service and compliance with appropriate mandates of the Marine Corps Housing Office policies and procedures. You will monitor the operation and maintenance of the Public Private Venture (PPV) Housing, reviewing financial and maintenance plans and reports You will evaluate management, maintenance, and operating costs, review statistical data, develop information that include current and past expenditures, and review and provide comments to the PPV Property Manager annual housing operation budget. You will maintain Resident Satisfaction Survey (RSS) records results for the installation. You will assist Public Private Venture (PPV) housing tenants in resolving complaints and disputes concerning various situations in accordance with Business Agreements. You will communicate advance housing information, including housing conditions, rental costs, occupancy rates, and other general information to incoming personnel. You will ensure occupancy data in the housing software program is reviewed and updated on a daily/monthly basis and reflects accurate current occupancy.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States drivers license.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
  • Position is telework eligible.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing housing contracts to include planning, monitoring and evaluating housing operations; and advising families, staff, and personnel on housing concerns such as resolving complaints and disputes and advance housing information (e.g. housing conditions, rental costs, occupancy rates). Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Education

In lieu of specialized experience you may also meet the minimum qualifications through one of the following:

master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related
