About the Position: Serves as Facility Operation Specialist for the Louisville District, Operations Division, supporting major multipurpose water resource projects that may include power generation, navigation locks, flood control, visitor centers, natural resources and recreation features, or other appurtenant elements at several locations. Duties

Analyze maintenance history for facilities and equipment Establish maintenance schedules for facilities and equipment. Develop and update maintenance equipment profiles. Record system maintenance and repair history. Prepare or assist in preparing annual and/or periodic program reports. Attend project maintenance meetings and relay pertinent information. Provide access and permissions for employees utilizing the Facilities and Equipment Maintenance System (FEM). Troubleshoot FEM system problems and issues. Organize, compile all pertinent information, assure accuracy, and enter data updates for equipment into automated maintenance systems.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-07. OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in engineering, industrial arts, property management, or business administration. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
